Hi Trevor. My name is Freddie Veres and my dad, Peter, was the previous owner of the Helix Stairlift you purchased on eBay from Frank. 

I was sorry to learn it wasn't working properly when it got to you, but I can assure you that it was before it was shipped to you, so I can only assume the problems arose when it was  shipped to you. 

I looked at my picture of the manual to confirm the model and looked up causes and fixes online.  It suggests it is possible that the bearing needs lubricant or that there may be debris in/under the track itself. 

I know how valuable it was for transporting my mom up and down stairs, and as I told Frank, my dad and I  really just want it to be put to good use by somebody who needs it.
